That’s exactly what iOS App Store team member Steve Johnson said during today’s keynote at Apple’s WWDC event.
According to Johnson, the App Center is an app’s App Center that Apple can use to store the current status of the app and the app’s metadata, along with a number of other things, so that apps can sync, show the most recent app data, and so on.
Apple has long been known for letting its developers use the App Service, a system of iCloud Drive and iCloud Cloud storage for its developer tools, but it’s been limited to iOS apps.
When Apple introduced the new App Store last year, it allowed developers to build iOS apps that used the cloud for storage.
Developers who wanted to use the cloud to store their apps could then share the cloud with other developers who could also use it for storage, but only with their own developers tools.
That was a step in the right direction, but Apple wasn’t happy with the limitations of iCloud and App Center, and in February, it released a fix that gave developers more flexibility with cloud storage.
The update included iCloud Drive support for developers and developers tools, and it allowed apps to sync their app data with the cloud without Apple’s permission.
Apple hasn’t said whether developers who want to store apps on the cloud can do so through App Center or whether they’ll have to do so with their developers tools for iCloud Drive, which is what’s currently the only option for developers who don’t need iCloud Drive for storing their apps.
